How do U use Listmail Pro?
« on: March 22, 2006, 06:39:16 pm »
Hi All,

I'm banging my head trying to figure out how to integrate payment processors (Paypal, Clickbank and Regsoft.com) with Listmail Pro.

What I'm selling: an ecourse which is delivered to paying customers on a weekly basis by email.

What payment processors do I use: toss up between Clickbank, Regsoft.com and Paypal. (Each has its' pros and cons).

What is my problem: do not know how to redirect folks after payment to a secure area where they signup to the autoresonder/Listmail Pro.

I know I'm dense, but I originally thought of incorporating Listmail Pro to a shopping cart - but alas - I'm not a programmer and this seems a tad hard to do.

So, how do you all use Listmail Pro? Any suggestions on ecommerce and it?

Thanks, and looking forward to hearing your stories!
Jess

P.S. Here's an idea for DW, in future versions, create some sort of ecommerce integration - that would solve my problems! :-)

Hi Jess,

What you want to do is fairly straightforward for the programmer-type (basically, an insertion into the ListMail database in the post-payment script).  Of course, not everyone has this ability, and there are a number of security-related issues to take into account when writing your own payment-processing scripts.

You might want to take a look at aMemberPro and aShop.  These are 'paid membership' solutions that each feature a ListMail plugin so clients are added to your list(s) and started on your followup sequence when they purchase your products.
