How to add and unsubscribe link to the bottom of every email
« on: March 22, 2005, 08:47:23 am »
Hi

I have recently purchased this software and all is OK except I haven't found a way of putting an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailout

I saw something like
listdom.com/mail/remove.php?u=someuid
added to the footer on here but can't work out how to get it to automatically append it to the mailout.

Ideally I just need a link so they can unsubscribe without knowing which email address or list they are on.

I can't create a custom unsubsribe page per list as this isn't physically feesable.

All help appriciated.

Thanks

Pete

Ok for anyone else too stupid to read all the docs..... ;)

in the message body type your message and then finish off with the line

!remove

this will add the remove message for you.

You can use other message codes too:
The following codes are available:

Global Codes

!fname - User's First Name
!lname - User's Last Name
!fullname - User's Full Name
!email - User's Email Address
!remove - Remove Link
!mytext - User-defined Text
!date - Formatted Date
!date2 - Formatted Date
