Upgrading directly from 1.77 to 1.87d - error

Do I have to do interim upgrades first?  I copied 1.87d files into my ListMailPro directory and then logged in. Got this error:

Unknown column 'remsubj' in 'field list'

Did I have to do intermediate upgrades first?  If not, what could be the problem.

(I did follow the advice in the forum posted when others had this problem. Logging out and then browsing back did not fix the problem for me.  I still have the issue).

Having just sent Dean an email on this, and for no apparent reason other than time itself, the error went away after numerous attempts. Weird, but we are up!

Hi George,

For the database to be updated to the new version you simply need to logout and browse to the login page.  I am considering ways to improve this functionality, such as making it automatic no matter what page your are on or login status you have.

Hi Dean,

Thanks - I got that from the other postings.  The problem I had was that no matter how many times I tried to browse to the page after logging out, it still took me back to the same error - and I was succesfully logged out. After about an hour though, it just worked fine after logging out and then back in.  Not sure what took so long - but we do have over 150,000 names in our various lists, so perhpas it was doing an update to various records and indexes that just ook that long.

All is good though! Great new features.
