logging in for the first time won't work

I'm installing listmail for the first time and I have just got the stage where in need to edit the configuration file.

When I clicked to do this it asked me for the password again which must still be 'install' as I haven't been able to get in to change it yet.

I then get the message 'Admin logged in, proceed', then the screen reverts to the login page, with the following URL 'listmail/login.php?r=editlists.php'.

Greetings,

You can try the password "install" again but if you still can't get in there may be a problem with cookies in your browser.  I recommend clearing the cookies on the ListMail domain and trying again.

You may also want to try another browser. e.g. FireFox vs. IE7

Hi

I've tried clearing the cookies using both safari and firefox browsers but I'm getting the same error. Obviously these are both mac editions... could this be the issue?

I can't think of anything that would cause this.  I know of many Mac users using ListMail. I assume you are using the latest files.  This could be server related - please submit your info and I will try to recreate the error.

Installation problem - blank screen after login

I am having the exact same problem as spwillis. I cannot find the answer anywhere in the forum. Can anyone help?

Blank page after installation. When I enter "install" as username, it installs the databases, then when I click on "Configure" it returns a blank screen.
Getting desperate. Please help.
