Unsubscribe not working after 1.84 upgrade

I upgraded to 1.84, and none of my unsubscribe links for existing subscribers work.  The error message is:

Your email address (!email) was not found in our database! This error should never happen, please contact the administrator of this web site for a manual removal.

This also happens to users who have been added (or joined) since the upgrade. I have tried a number of different email addresses, and all have the same results.

Thoughts?

I believe this will not happen with new members but only with existing ones...  A bug was recently fixed with the v1.8/v1.81 import process where duplicate UIDs were changed to be unique.  This means a lot of your users' previous emails could contain an incorrect UID.  They should not have troubles removing from your future messages and you should not experience this in future testing - please let me know if you do.

I see that I accidentally copied an actual unsubscribe link into my newsletter, rather than using the !unsubscribe link.
