Insert a custom field in a user mailing
« on: July 17, 2004, 09:21:53 am »
Hi Dean,

When I use one of the available 10 custom fields can I use it in a mailing. To be clear, I know when I want to use a clients First Name I put !fname.

I tried !user1 and tried the actual field name (i.e. !company).

Not sure what I'm missing here.

Thanks.

Garry

Garry,

You need to set up a new message code to point to that field.  Go to [Message Codes] -> [Global Codes] and make a new code of the type "Custom Field X".
