Link To HTML Problems
« on: February 11, 2005, 06:57:16 am »
Hi Dean,

I have got the "Link To HTML" working, however, the only issue I have noticed is that when the link is clicked in the text email that is sent and it launches the html version, the "message codes" are not being parsed, i.e. instead of the member's first name being displayed, the !fname is displayed instead.

Is this correct or should the message codes be parsed as per normal text and html emails?

Interestingly, when I send the html version to a member on the same list, it all works perfectly and their name is displayed properly.

Thanks Dean,
Matt

I thought I had put this in but apparently it was only active in my unreleased working copy.

I have just fixed it for v1.77b.  Re-download the ZIP from the members area and replace admin.php and showpage.php.

Hi Dean,

Have downloaded the .zip and uploaded the admin.php and showpage.php as recommended. All I am getting now when I click on the link in the text email is a blank page. The link that is being generated is different too:

NOW:
http://www.xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx.com.au/listmail/showpage.php?u=67f040e&m=1137

BEFORE:
http://www.xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx.com.au/listmail/showpage.php?m=1131

Cheers,
Matt.
