List-specific Custom HTML
« on: June 28, 2005, 03:23:43 am »
Hi Dean

How do I specify HTML pages specific to a list? The dropdown shows 'default' and lists 1-4 HTML, but I want to set up something for List 7. When I click 'Custom HTML' on the List 7 'List Settings' page, the HTML form reverts to N/A (the default) and any changes go to the default file. The dropdown won't allow changes either.

thanks
Laurie

Laurie,

I apologize for the confusion.  I should probably mention this in the docs as I know you're not the first to be uncertain about the changes to the Custom HTML feature.

What you need to do is click Custom HTML, then click New to set up your new HTML template.  When that's all finished, go to the List Settings page for your list, select the new template, and be sure to save.

Regards!
