Alternately, enter a URL to forward the user to.
« on: September 02, 2005, 07:19:28 am »
Dean,

In utilizing the "Alternately, enter a URL to forward the user to." feature under "Custom HTML" is it specific to each list, i.e. List 1, List 2, List 3 and so on, or is the specified URL applied globally to all lists?

My reason for asking is I attempted to use it to forward the user visting one domain to a specific new domain after clicking the subscribe button.  It works great, however, it seems that the url forwarding was applied to all lists. Is there a way to individual this to each specific list?

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,

As of v1.8 you can apply the same Custom HTML to each list, with a "Default HTML" being used automatically for new lists.  What you need to do is go into Custom HTML and hit the "New" button.  Rename the template, save it, and you can then apply it to your list(s).

Dean,

I tried creating the new html.  When I tried to save it, that work.  It saved as New Html.  When I tried to rename it, it wouldn't take.  I was then unable to get that "New Html" to engage for that specific list.

How can I successfully rename it?

How do I assign it to a specific list?

Thanks,
Dennis
