Followup emails not sent.
« on: September 10, 2006, 06:33:53 am »
Hello,

I have setup followup emails to go out delay 1 or 2 with cron ***, and I am getting the dailymail report, but the followup emails are not being sent? What could be the problem?

dailymail report sunday 10 september:
List 1: Newsletter
2 total users (1 new), 0 followups sent

I did get the welcome and confirmation messages.

Thanks
Tarja

The cron you describe should be 'any day', so it should send when the user's delay reaches 0.  (In fact, no cron is necessary for the exact same functionality) Each day, the delay will be decreased for each user and if 0 a message is sent and the next one is loaded.

Are your users' delays reaching 0?  You can view this on the User Database page.

All users are and have been at 0 for few days.

I re imported the userdatabase and everything seems to work fine now. I don't have any idea what was wrong.

Ok, this is still not working.
All users are at 0, I get the dailymail report, but no followups are being sent.
The confirmation email goes ok and so does the welcome email, but then... nothing. The first follow up is set to delay 1 and the next ones delay 2. I changed the first followup to 0 and will see what happens. I really don't understand what is the problem?? :?

Can I take a look?  You can securely submit your information here.  Along with your submission please let me know which list(s), primarily, are experiencing the error.
