Need help with addingnew website to the Maillist pro.
« on: June 03, 2008, 06:09:58 pm »
Hi All,
Could someone help me with adding new website?  I have tried to use the paid option, but can't navigate my way throw, as I'm being directed back to login over and over. I need some help and it seems to be impossible to contact the support.
Do I need to upload it again to the new website?
My first website is on the same server and database.

Greetings,

There are two ways to have ListMail work for two sites.

1. Set up an additional full installation, using another MySQL database.  All lists, settings, users, etc. will be installation-specific.  You can order from http://listmailpro.com/support, but you will need your member username and password.

2. Have both sites add users to a single installation.  The drawback of this is remove links, address bar URLs (such as on Custom HTML pages) will show the domain name that ListMail is installed on.  For this reason, with this approach many users choose to register a more generic domain name that is suitable for use with all of their web site signups.

Hey Beata,

I know it's been a month since you wrote this, but I had to snicker as I
read it.  You sound like I did when I first bought LMP about 4-5 years
ago.  I think it was version 1.84 then.

The reason I snickered was that you sound just like did back then :)
Thanks to DW it was installed perfectly.  (thanks Dean!)

Normally I drop by here at least once a week to see what's going on.  I
was in the hospital since June 9th, and this is the first chance I've taken
since I got home to catch up reading the forum.

I don't see your website listed and I would like to take a look at it.  You
can either list it here or send me an email.

Keep on working as you are.

SemperFi!

Neil

Hi Beata,

To access paid support at http://listmailpro.com/support you do need to login with your ListMail member information.  It should only be required for you to do this once - it should not repeatedly ask you for this information.  If you are experiencing this there may be a problem with setting cookies in your browser.  In addition to posting here in the semi-public forum, you can also contact me at http://contact.listmailpro.com for more sensitive matters if the tech support system is not working for you.
