not getting emails returned through tech support
« on: December 04, 2007, 04:05:53 pm »
I purchased Listpro a few days ago and since found out that usig with my hosting company is not recommended.  I am with Hostgator and am not in a position to move.  With their limit of 200 emails at a time, it just isn't going to work.  I need weekly emails sent to a moderate size list that is growing and need the flexibility to be able to send more than the stipulated amount by Hostgator.

I have emailed tech support twice and waited a total of over 4 days now with no response so have posted it here, hoping to get a response. How do I go about getting a refund?

Greetings,

Indeed, it appears there is a problem with delivery of my emails to you.  I sent this on the 3rd:

To hopefully help you, if list management is required by your business you have two options and those are hosted solutions (aWeber, $19.95+/mo) and a program that installs on your site/host like ListMail, ARP, SendStudio, etc. where you pay once and for the usual hosting.  A web host that is supportive of your efforts to send commercial email to reasonable sized lists is a definite requirement.  I would host such a small list on my exclusive invite-only web servers for $10/mo or less for a list up to 5000 sent daily.  The only limitations are no purchased lists and always include a remove link.

I love helping people out. Let me know if this might work for you, if you want to negotiate price further, or if you would like to go ahead with the (no further questions asked) refund.

Thank you so much for answering. No I didn't receive your email and I do thank you for your response in the forum.

I have looked into it and aweber will be my preference.  I already had an aweber account but had aweber and wanted something that I could marry with it (thus listpro).  But, the hosting is not going to work out.  I like aweber but am still trying to work out how I can work it so that payments are processed through amember and delivery of autoresponders are through aweber.  It seems to be the age old question in every forum I read.

So, I would like you to go ahead with the refund please and thanks again for your response.  I appreciate your help.

Diana

Hi Diana, I will issue it right away.  Thanks for your patience and persistence in contacting me.  As you may know you likely cannot customize aWeber very much to meet your needs where/if it doesn't.  If you ever want to take full control of your email lists you know where to find me. ;)
