How to set up List Mail within a new server?
« on: August 04, 2007, 06:26:16 am »
Hi,

We just switched servers and now our List Mail account is no longer accessible. Can anyone give instructions on how to set up our List Mail account in our new server?

Thank You

Greetings,

Are you wanting to move your existing data from your old host to your new host, or are you starting from scratch?

Either way, the Online Help is a good place to start.

On the new host set up a database, username and password and set up ListMail's config.php file.

To move your data from the old host to the new host what you need to do is a MySQL backup (aka dump or export) and restore (aka import).

Here's a post detailing the proess:

For further assistance feel free to reply.  For direct hands-on assistance please order at least a server analysis.

Hi,

I filled out a Server Analysis request but I think I might have been charged twice... ($70).

As an after thought I realized that I probably should have ordered a Full Installation.

If we just need a Server Analysis can we be re-imbursed the $35?
If you think we need Full Installation, perhaps we can be re-imbursed $20?

Thank you vey much!
