problems with LM using Mozilla/Netscape

Hi.

I've encountered various problems using Mozilla/Netscape to administer the ListMail program. The attachment function does not work. When clicking the 'Add' button, the dialog does not pop up. Before upgrading to 1.77b, I was able to get the popup, but when clicking the 'Set Attachment' button, the attachment never got 'attached' to the email. The field where the name of the attachment should have appeared remained blank.

I also noticed on the screen after you 'send' a message, the updated numbers were not updating as mail went out. I only tried this with a single message, the indicator stayed at '0' while in IE, it incremented to '1' after the message was sent.

Dean, have you tested this with Mozilla/Netscape/Firefox?

ListMail works best with Internet Explorer as mentioned in the system requirements section of the help:

Unfortunately, ListMail is not (yet) as well tested under Netscape or other browsers.  However, some crucial aspects are tested.

I will make a note of the problem with the attachment feature.

I am not sure about the problem with counters incrementing you report.  This is commonly due to a server setting rather than the browser, though, I have not tested it on Netscape.  I do know that Netscape handles updating counters like this differently.  For instance, if you are pushing an HTML table to the browser Internet Explorer will let you push the data out before the table is closed, but Netscape won't.
