Hi Dean...Subscription Errors
« on: April 05, 2005, 04:35:42 pm »
Hi Dean

Every email list I have gives this error message when people are trying to subscribe to my lists:-

There were errors with your subscription to our mailing list.

The error messages are as follows:
The email address you entered is in an incorrect format.

Please press the back button on your browser and re-enter your information.

Please look into it ASAP, otherwise no one will be able to join my lists...I have 14 lists, and all of them give the same error message.

Thanks...Paul

I just did a test subscribe at tdg.com and didn't seem to get the error message.  Can you please submit a support ticket of the type "Other" at http://listmailpro.com/support with details about the locations of your signup forms so that I can investigate further?

Hi Dean

I just went back through and had to put in a new URL to forward error messages. After the update of your software, it must have wiped out my original URL forwarding command.

Also...why does my Listmail look new...did you update it for me?

Paul

Yes, I updated everyone on my servers.  Did you have a custom modification? :(

I had to put in a new URL for when people subscribe and are already in my database...they will get redirected.
