Sending VERY SLOW - - - Please Help

Hello Dean - and all  

I just switched back to ListMailPRO from Arp after about 2 years
(and now wish I never went to Arp).

I'm having a problem though.  

The server is sending out messages VERY SLOW.  Like it's taking two or more days to send out to my list which is messing up my followup sending big time.

If you can Dean, would you be able to look at my server and ListMailPRO configuration for me?

I have a list of 119,000+ in and 100+ on another list.  I also have plans to add more as needed in the future.

I would be a GREAT help.

I have my own server at EV1 so I can provide root access or what ever else is needed and the server is for the list only so any changes wouldn't effect anything.

Hi Ray,

Does your server run Plesk?  If so you might achieve much greater mailing speed with the following optimizations:

Your server could be blocked from sending to a major ISP like AOL or HotMail.  This can cause your mail queue to grow beyond a few tens of thousands of messages which can slow down hard drive access considerably.

You can check the size of your server's mail queue with the following command:

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat

Hello Dean,

My server is a cPanel server.

I just went in and order the server help like you suggested for 35.00

I also provided root server access.  You have full permission to make any needed changes to make it work as best as possible as this server for sending via ListMailPro only and changes will not effect anything else.
