"All Lists"
« on: May 06, 2005, 05:00:39 pm »
It is very difficult for me to get to the "All
Lists" part of Listmailpro. I need to do several different manouvres to get
to "All Lists". Is there an easy way there from the first page of
Listmailpro?...It isnt on the drop down menu of the home page. I need to do
this because people email me asking me to remove them from all the different
lists they are in.

Thankyou...Paul

Paul,

The latest "Remove Link" message code features global and multi-list remove options.  The new features can be found on the "Edit" page for your (default global) !remove code.  Are you using a message code of this type to allow your users to remove?

Hi Dean

For some reason, [people wont click the !remove link I place in the email...they want me to manually unsubscribe them....so the only way to get them off all the lists is through the "All Lists" drop down menu which isnt on the first page when you open Listmailpro.

Please help....Paul

Hi,
Just a small thought on the side before DW gets to this.
It seems strange that people won't click the !remove link in your mail.
I have just received some mail (not from you though) and I often don't get remove links although the senders are sure to put them in..!
In these particular cases they send from one of the agencies (I think) in HTML but I only ever read mail in text form. It seems somehow that if people send HTML mail and they get read in text, in some cases the remove links don't get put in.
It has always seemed strange to me as the other links are in the mail. Maybe in my case its something to do with how they convert and that the !remove links are from tags but the links I get are the ones they directly type in.
Just a thought, anyway.

This is normal, you will always get people who are too lazy to click the 'Remove link' and want to complain and ask you to do it manually, I know it stinks, but that's the way it goes...

I agree GETTING to the ALL lists is sometimes a pain, I usually start by clicking User Database, and then the ALL List pulldown, so just two clicks.

HTH,
Thanks,
