Daily Report don't work
« on: May 18, 2005, 05:41:43 am »
The "Daily Report" function don't work. I do receive the following error:

/bin/sh: /usr/bin/wget: Permission denied

What do I need to do?

Thanks,

Mike

If your host does not allow you to access the program /usr/bin/wget you might try some alternatives.  Check out the following posts for some common examples:

If your host doesn't support any of this you might want to run the dailymail task from home, as per this page:

My host does allow access the program /usr/bin/wget .

Also, I get 2 email notices with each signup. What could be causing that?

Are you sure they do? You should not receive a Permission Denied error when the task is run by cron...

You might receive 2 notices if the subscriber refreshes the thank-you page.  If this happens even with your test signups when you do not refresh there might be some investigating we can do, but this type of problem is extremely rare.
