« on: February 07, 2007, 06:30:42 am »
1. How do I remove duplicates users who are on different lists?
2. Is there a way to select more than one user in a list to edit or remove?
3. Is there a way to move users (or a block of users) from one list to another?

Greetings,

1. How do I remove duplicates users who are on different lists?

This is currently not possible without a simple custom script to loop through all users on one list and then remove them from others.  I would be willing to assist with this through the forum if you need it.  Please let me know exactly what you would want to do.

If you are using the "User Selection" feature to select more than one list you can check the option "Filter Duplicates" to eliminate duplicate mesages.

2. Is there a way to select more than one user in a list to edit or remove?

At this time, no.  In the next update, yes.  It could be a couple weeks or more for that, though, because I'm working on a number of improvements.

3. Is there a way to move users (or a block of users) from one list to another?

Again no, you would need to use some simple custom script or a custom MySQL query.  Please let me know what you want to do and I will come up with the code. :D

Moving users from one list to anther
« Reply #2 on: February 07, 2007, 08:59:53 am »
My server host will only allow me to send a total of 1000 SMTP Relays per day.
And I can only send 250 per day ---- per e-mail account.

So I have 5 e-mail accounts dedicated to delivering 200 messages per day for a total of 1000.

I have a mailing list of just over 15,000.

What I would really like to have is one “rotating” list sending to all 5 e-mail accounts every day until the entire list has been sent.

This brings me to yet another question:
Is there any way to set the e-mail host’s (login ID) through the list settings panel?

Maybe you have a better solution to my problem

Thanks

Ron

Greetings,

It is highly recommended that you find a host with no limits on email.  ListMail does not and may never feature 'rotation' one can use to evade such hosting limits.

I'm not sure I understand the question.  Are you suggesting the ability to set the SMTP server/host/login on a per-list basis?  This is not currently possible, such settings are all on the ListMail Configuration page.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance
