Crontab Error
« on: January 19, 2008, 04:39:50 am »
DW,

I am setting up my cron for my dailymail as you have it shown in the help topics, which is:

/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null -T 0 http://mydomain.com/mail/dailymail.php?pw=password 1> /dev/null 2> /dev/null

and got this error:

/usr/bin/crontab permissions are wrong. Please set to 4755

What is 4755, and how can I fix it?

any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Neil

Hi Neil, this appears to be a permission problem at the server level.  You should bring the error message to the attention of your web host.

Thanks Dean,

I was going to call him this afternoon anyway, so your suggestion is right on time.

I'll let you know what I find out
