Probs with 177.b that weren't there before

I'm having problems after installing the upgrade that I wasn't having before.

My dailymail notification no longer works.

My backup doesn't either although it may not have worked before.  It generates a file but it is empty.

I did try the fixes Dean suggested in the config.php but none of them seemed to work with my host.

I'm trying to learn about cron jobs now as this is apparently my problem but thought you'd like to know these things are not "automatic" in the new version.

In any case, I'm still highly satisfied with the overall performance of the software and Dean has been highly supportive when contacted for help.

Installing new files should not affect your ListMail data (ie: dailymail password) or the cron task (usually set up in your hosting control panel).  If you need a hand let me know.
