Sendmail PHP Mail() - not working

Hello,

I'm using Sendmail PHP Mail(), as my host will only allow 150 emails/hr.  My settings are:

Internal Sendmail PHP mail() (delayed to prevent timeouts)
   500 (ms) between emails and 60 (mins) every 145 emails.

But I have to go in every hours or so and hit "Resume", doesn't appear to working every hour.  I get all my Dailymail reports every 24hrs as usual.

Any ideas?

It is quite like that your server automatically closes the connection because of the hour wait.  Instead of delaying an hour, perhaps you should set a longer delay between messages so there is less  inactivity.

You can send 2.5 per minute so delay 24000 (or 25000) ms between messages and a minute every 150 emails.

I must recommend that you get a web host with no limits on email.  DreamHost will let you run lists up to around 15,000 I believe.  Sign up as my referral and I'll migrate your ListMail for free.
