Question Regarding New Version - Mailing
« on: October 27, 2005, 07:38:26 pm »
Hello ListMailPro,

My questions is simple: When you have let's say
3 lists, I am running the older version and when I mail to
list 1 and 2 if the same person is in both lists he receives mail
of the same message.

Is or does the new version allow mailing to the entire list
and not double mailing like this, or I am just going to have
to come up with something to solve this?

I need it to let someone signup to list 1 and 2 but only
mail then once when mailing a total.

See I have two lists one for mailing list and one for
a guide subscription in which they get a 4 day guide. I am
mailing out my newsletter and this one guy who signuped up
for my newsletter the mailing list and then he also signed
up for the guide list and now he is getting two of every message
I send out, becuase he is on list 1 and 2 and when I mail
them he get's two messages (see what I am getting at)

Any Recommendation or does the new version do something
that I am not knowing....

Thanks,
CB

Upgrade to the newest version... that way you can use 'User Selection' to select your lists together and give them a name, and choose the option:
'Filter Duplicates', this prevents anyone that is on more than one list from receiving a duplicate message  :)

It works great, I just upgraded myself and I recommend you do the same...
Thanks,

Hi DW,

You're welcome... I can't wait for your 'next version'   :D   I'm sure there are many eagerly awaiting the new features!

I noticed a Post I added to the 'User Profile' thread in Customization Integration did not show up as 'new'... and you have not answered, maybe didn't see it either, it's at:http://listmailpro.com/forum/index.php?topic=900.msg3525#msg3525

Anyway.... Crons are about to hit this week... so I'll let you know how that goes... keep up the GREAT work!!!
Thanks,
-Brett
