Setting up new resonse lists
« on: September 28, 2007, 09:35:55 am »
I am setting up a telephone seminar and would like to have an automated response for people who sign up for the course. I have tried to figure out how to do this but I am not sure. Please can you guide me in the right direction.

Also when I send a general email out to my database, how do I send the same message to people who sign up afterwards, without sending to all the database again?

Thank you very much

Check out the "List Settings" -> "Signup Code" page in ListMail.  Here you can create a signup form.  Once the signup form is on your site modify and enable the "Welcome Message", also found on the "List Settings" page.

Good question.  This is not exactly possible, but there is a way you can get it to within a day...  On the "User Selection" page you can set up rules for sending to your lists.  Choose "Active" users on your list and enter the search  options for a "Date Added" query.  If you sent your last email Sept 30, 2007 You would modify the query to read "Date Added" > (Greater than) September 30 2007.  Unfortunately you will have to modify the User Selection rule before each mailing, and keep track of when your last mailing was (It may appear under "Sent Messages" if it hasn't been too long)

Please let me know if you have further questions :D
