Slow transitions
« on: June 01, 2005, 10:58:44 pm »
Hi Dean, for the last 3 days I have been experiencing very slow transitions in my listmail program. For example it takes minute and sometimes just gets hung up and doensn't happen at all such as now, when I just go from the list settings to user data base. As you know when ever you do anything in the program it reloads the updated or changed page so this is causing big problems as I am waiting ages to do simple tasks. I know it just seems like one problem after another for me but thought you may have a reason for this. It has happened pretty much since i switched servers but wasn't a problem for the first few days.
Any suggestions?  :(
Thanks
Steve

Steve,

I have restarted your server services in an effort to resolve this.  Please let me know if it continues.

Thanks Dean, I can't get anything happening at the moment. It is just freezing up when the little green indicator dots get halfway along. Lots to do so hopefully it is just a tempory thing.

I can't seem to get into my stuff at all now. It logs me in ok then takes forever to put up the first page. Sometime the upload never comes and I just end up with a blank white page with the list mail administration header. Everything else work fine and other internet activity doesn't seem to be slowed or affected by the browser trying to access the program data.

Could it be anything to do with turning on the dailymail as it started around the same time? Just a thought.

Dean I tried the program this morning and it is working again without a problem. Not sure if you did something to fix it but thanks anyway.

Another client on the server has complained about similar problems over the last couple days.  I just finished moving and getting reconnected so I'm able to work on this some more now.  Please let me know if you have trouble again.
