smtp

Hi Dean, I have just moved servers and installed Listmail.

I opt for smtp and run all the tests, it says everything is fine.

With only a couple of emails in the database I choose 'send email' and that works fine.

When I import my database and run 'send email' it connects to the smtp but the emails seem to be sent really quickly, ie the counter runs really fast but then no emails are delivered.

Do I need to check anything with the host?

Peter,

It seems that you are not authenticated with the server to be allowed to send email.  If a setting of "localhost" for your SMTP host with no authorization doesn't work try using the "AUTH" option with an account configured on the host.
