Individual redirects on cofirm???
« on: August 27, 2006, 05:49:04 am »
Hi,  How can I send the confirming prospect to a page associated with a particular list when they click the confirm link?

I am running different programs in different lists.  When they click on the confirm link I want to serve a  page that contains details appropriate to the progam the list deals with, from another server.

Right now when I put a URL in, the list indactor says N/A and it becomes a global redirect target that served when a prospect confirms on ANY list.

To summarize - I want a redirect on confirm associated with each list.  Am I missing it?

Regards, Gren.

Yes, this quite commonly causes confusion because the documentation is not good enough (yet) :)

In recent versions each HTML set can be applied to more than one list.  Quite probably, you have the "Default HTML" set for each list and you are only editing that "set".  What you need to do is click "Custom HTML", click "New", modify and rename the HTML set as desired, click "Save", browse to the desired list's "List Settings" page, choose your new Custom HTML under "Custom HTML" and "Save" the list's settings.

Hope that helps!
