resume.php give 'Access Denied' but dailymail.php runs?
« on: May 23, 2007, 06:01:37 am »
Hi,

I'm having a weird problem, after a move to a new server, I setup my cron jobs for dailymail and resume.

Dailymail seems to run fine, as it kicked off and filled the send queue last night, but for some reason when I run Resume.php with the exact same command line and password I get an 'Access Denied'.

Is there some workaround for this, or do I need to try to run resume.php with curl or something else?

Does anyone know why resume.php would not run, if dailymail.php runs fine?  DW, anyone?
Thanks,
-Brett

Brett,

You're right - this is weird.  I think it should work.  Are you sure there isn't an extra space or something in your cron command-line?

You might also want to check the file by viewing it remotely using your FTP client to make sure the code appears as expected.  (Funny double-space/linebreak issues can happen with an incorrect FTP transfer mode)

Obviously grasping at straws here...

DW,

Thanks, it was a misstyped password on the command line - it does run fine now, the problem was the 'AUTH' was not setup properly and that's why it was not re-starting (with resume) the sending.

I'm going to try a fairly large test next - just to make sure all is working, but fow now it looks like it is  :D
Thanks,
