Unable to log-in...
« on: May 20, 2004, 04:32:06 pm »
I upgraded yesterday to1.77b without trouble. Logged in did some work and logged out (or maybe just crashed windows yet again..) In any case everything was fine. Today I can NOT get logged in. It takes my password, says I am logged in then flips to a screen that tells me I need to log-in.. ??!!??!?!

Suggestions??

I did try re-installing the upgraded scripts thinking I may inadvertently done something, but it does the exact same thing regardless.

thx.

If you close all of your browser windows and start again you should be able to login.

I did that before I posted. And before I emailed.

I also cleaned my cookies first too...

I did'nt re-boot MY computer though I can't see how that would help, weird as it is, I logged off my computer and back in then everything worked...

What in heck would cause me not to be able to log-on a website on this end???

Hmm.  Usually this problem is very temporary and goes away even if you close the single browser window causing the problem.  It can be caused by having mismatched versions of the program files.  Perhaps your FTP client did not correctly overwrite all the files.

This problem hasn't re-appeared.. so we're ok now. I use 'filezilla' as my FTP client.
