Wecome email on backend subscribe....

I have set up a list to only get the welcome email when the user is added to it with no confirmation prior.

I have a script that when a sale is made it will post to the signup in the BG and add the user to the list. but the user didnt get the welcome email?

Is the script not set up to mail a welcome email when a user is added from the BG.

If I have the option to send the confirmation checked and the user is posted in the BG to that list they get the confirmation email.

Just not when I only have the welcome email send option set.

Please advise.

I found out my issue. It did work. The email was being sorted to a folder I wasnt looking in because of the from address we were using.

Glad to hear you got it sorted - I was going to suggest using the simpler PHP insertion script instead of the old LMinsert.php script.  I guess you are using the simpler one already
