Here's an enhancement suggestion:

We have time-sensitive information we sell and would like to offer visitors a one-time only chance to receive this information.  In other words, give us your email address and we'll send the very next post.  Of course, people could use different email addresses to get more free posts, but that's fine.  

So the list would have to remove the user after the first email went out to them.

Any suggestions on how we should do this now would be appreciated.

I don't know of a way, even with custom additions, that this would be possible / easy.  Perhaps you can get away with using followups.   This way, people would receive the message only once.  If you add another followup later (at least, one with a higher Sequence #), they would receive the new followup.  You could simply keep modifying the first followup so that new subscribers receive the new information but old subscribers don't..
