since it took so long. i just X'd out of the page, restarted my pc, and when back to my login.php for mail, and update thing, did not show up, just logged in like normal. SO i guess it worked

I noticed the import of members, runs a bit slower now :(

I also wanted to know, since i have a huge member mailing list, when i click on USers, The page take a while to load up, cause i have so many users. I was wondering if theres anyway, where you can make it, so that it wont load all the users, when we want to just import users. Like make a button the our admin page, that says import. instead of clicking users and then importing.  Made for people who just want to import users.

That would def help me out. cause i dont have the need to edit users. just want to import them, Also, i wish you can , add this feature, in in the next version, like real soon, which is this 1, i was telling you about at
http://listmailpro.com/forum/index.php?topic=1289.0

Hope you can do this. as I paid alot of money for this Software. and that would def make me satified

Hi,

Interesting, DW have you seen this guy's (quikboy the author of these posts) website - the guy is using your Logo: http://www.lmhost2.com

Not sure what's up with that???  But it looks like he took the suggestions all of us have posted up here and put them up on his own website making it look like a ListMailPro website???

I've seen enough of your posts... I'm not sure if you're a spammer or not, but it seems you could be...  secondly you don't even list 'WHERE' you are from - like you don't want anyone to know, I can assure you that there are probably people enforcing spam laws watching these forums  :D

WHAT makes you think you're suggestions are better than others who have used this software for years????????   Have you ever purchased software before - do you really think your suggestion is the only one around that's going to get any attention - especially with comments like you make (see above)...

(wah wah), like we really care how much money you paid... grow up - most likely you're a 16 year old sitting in your bedroom....

Look, DW, the author of this software has many, many more suggestions then how to make importing 3 million email addresses easy for a possible spammer.

If you are NOT a spammer please reply with why/where you came up with 3 million email addresses?  I've been in business for nearly 10 years online and don't have that many, and yes, I've saved every one....  I value my customers...

I look forward to hearing where you came up with 3 million email addresses that are legitimate?

Good luck...
Thanks,
-Brett

It's listed on your profile, ok, maybe you entered that, or maybe it just put that in for you - I see, so that is DW's website... afterall...

Good luck to you, spamming 3 million people is going to make you very, very UNPOPULAR
Thanks,

I had assumed that they were not confirmed optin addresses and anyone importing by the bucket load did not sound like the I.T. centre restoring a backup list.
I must admit that I was curious how someone could get 3 million subscribers.
After reading the posts though it occurred to me that it must be a big organisation that probably used copy writers to correct the grammar and spelling before sending out that many emails.

Quikboy,

As I mentioned in another thread I cannot recommend you run over 1 million email address per server, and I must recommend that said server be running higher-end hardware.  New feature suggestions are not always implemented right away.  In fact, some recently added features were suggested back in 2004 .  If you want a feature rushed I can possibly do it for you at a cost of about $35/hr with an average cost of $100 per feature.

Brett,

Yes lmhost2.com is my new site/domain testing grounds, but thanks for looking out for me! :D   As you probably guessed, I do not have a policy on how my program is used when not on my hosting - it's up to the client.

Just today/yesterday I've been dealing with someone selling ListMail on eBay for about $25.  I think that's taken care of now as I spoke with the eBay fraud department and informed the guy about my intent to pursue legal action if he didn't stop...

I wonder WHY you would offer services like that to a spammer???  Please keep that in mind, don't waste your time offering services to help a spammer and put features in that a normal user will NEVER, EVER want!

PLEASE!!!!  don't do that.....
Thanks,

Hi bhl007,
I feel sure that you can rest in your hope concerning the legitimate use of ListMailPro by other forum members.

It is rare to hear of anyone that does not have some legitimate and responsible use of the product being tolerated by owners and members of this forum.

The group are about the friendliest and most supportive of common business or social use and also tend to self police abusive actions that damage the reputation of the community and the Internet in general.

So don't worry anymore, we are all here to watch out and weed out any use that is suspect.

DW... sorry, we seem to have highjacked your 1.87 testing thread.
Maybe you should clear some of the posts out of here...

Quikboy I am sorry I don't have time for your feature right now... My quote was a guideline but I unfortunately can't always put in new features even if you are willing to pay.

Trevor, I would but that would leave this thread with a single entry... :D  Soon.
