At this time you should search "All" lists for the email address you're looking for, and you may need to hit "Delete" (then Enter) next to each entry.  ListMail does feature "Global Remove" via message code but it's currently not  a part of the interface.

I think it is a bigger issue then that, sorry I was not informative in my post.  I had a no dupe on the entry form for my contest.  I thought that would not allow the database to keep multiple entries. People can enter multiple times which is the way the contest is run.

I sent my first email from the List Mail system and some people got 20 emails from me!

I guess I assumed the system would not send email to the same address.

Is there an easier way to de-dupe or check for duplicates that a beginner can understand?

Thanks

David

With "allow_dupes" enabled you might need to set up a User Selection with the "Filter duplicate emails" option selected.  You could also use "overwrite_dupes" instead to prevent having to use User Selection on future lists.

The allow dupes has the same hidden field convention?

Also, where is: "User Selection with the "Filter duplicate emails" option"

thanks
