login redirecting to login
« on: May 04, 2004, 01:02:15 pm »
I've had listmail for about a month and it's been great. I've found more uses for it than I had when I bought the script.

Today I went to login but it keeps redirecting me to login.

From the first login screen I enter the password and it says "admin logged in, proceed" but then immediately says "You must login.".

It just started doing this today, I hven't touched the files since I installed the program so I'm not sure where to look to solve this.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Usually you can simply close your browser try again and it works.

However, it's possible that your server recently changed their Apache and/or PHP configuration.

I suggest that you upgrade to v1.77b, now available from the members area.  Included with this release is a new login method implemented because of a similar problem on certain servers.

Simply replace your main ListMail files, except config.php, with the ones from the new ZIP and re-login to the program.

Well, I'm back in to the admin panel. So I guess the upgrade helped. Although I run my own server from EV1servers,net and don't remember changing anything on the php or mysql setups, at least not last night.

Thanks for the advice Dean!
